Privacy policy
What this website collects, and what it does not.
We ask for as little as possible, and we tell you exactly where it goes.
This is a starting draft, not a final policy.
This page was written by the owner's development team to describe how the website actually works today. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer, and it must be reviewed and approved by the owner, and by qualified legal counsel, before the website goes live to the public.
What this website collects
Only what you type into our two forms.
We only collect what a person types into one of two forms on this website.
The request services form collects: who is making the request, their name, a phone number, an email address, a preferred contact method, the name and, optionally, the age range of the person who needs support, a city or county, the service being asked about, the type of support being looked for, how the services are funded, and an optional short note about what you are looking for.
The contact form collects: your name, your email address, an optional phone number, and your message.
Both forms include a hidden field used only to catch automated spam submissions. It is never shown to a real visitor and is not personal information.
What not to submit
Please keep medical and ID details off this website.
Please do not send diagnoses, medical records, Social Security numbers, Medicaid IDs, or detailed health histories through the website. These forms are not built to carry sensitive health information. If that kind of detail is ever needed, we will arrange a secure way to collect it directly, and we will tell you why it is needed before you send it.
How we use it
We use what you submit for two things: to reply to your enquiry, and to work out whether we are able to help with what you are asking for. We do not use it for anything beyond following up on the request or question you sent, and we do not use it to build a marketing profile of you.
How submissions are delivered
Your message is emailed to our inbox.
When you submit either form, the information is sent by email to our company inbox. If that inbox is not yet set up correctly on our end, the submission is written to a private server log instead, purely so that no request is silently lost. Either way, submissions are not posted publicly anywhere on the website.
Who can see it
Only people at Helping Hands Residential Services LLC who need to review and respond to enquiries can see what you submit. It is not shared with unrelated companies, and it is not made available to the public.
We do not sell your information
We do not sell your information, ever.
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information submitted through this website to anyone, and we do not use it for advertising.
Children's information
How we treat information about young people.
This website is meant for adults, families, service coordinators, and case managers. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children through these forms. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will remove it.
Third parties we use
The mail and hosting providers we rely on.
We rely on a small number of outside companies to run this website and to deliver your submissions to us. We do not let them use your information for their own purposes.
